We normally ship by UPS. We also ship by United States Postal Service .  Orders going out UPS will normally ship the same day on orders placed by 3:00pm EST.  Orders going out USPS will normally ship the following day regardless of the time ordered. 

We insure all packages, and that insurance is added into the cost of the shipping charge.
